Piano Tango

To understand the conception and evolution of ‘Piano Tango,’ one must look back at the 2018 Tour. This was a true DIY project: a solo format designed to share the essence of tango through own piano arrangements around the world, requiring nothing more than a grand piano at each venue. The project grew into a series of over 30 global concerts before pausing at the start of the pandemic.

Piano Tango took audiences on a journey from the early 20th century to modern composers. Presented in Spanish, English, and Russian, the show broke down the rhythmic and harmonic nuances of the genre’s different styles.
