In 2018, while exploring the streets of Osaka, I discovered drummer 延命寺 (a.k.a. Emj) playing on a street corner with a bassist friend as the insane duo グランバンド (Grunband). I immediately invited Emj to join this intercontinental project, which also features the Argentinian bassist Douglas Gonzalez Bethencourt (my brother in the low-end frequencies). Together, we arranged and recorded a progressive rock version of Gustav Holst’s “The Planets.” The track features drums, bass, drawbar organ, and a custom synthesizer I constructed myself.
